Without a doubt...the kindest and most wonderful teacher and coach I had over the course of my lifetime. I wish I would have taken the time to find him before (I googled him today) and told him what a great role model he was to me. So patient. So pleasant.

A friend in Phoenix sent me William's obit. He sounds like a typical Krahn. In my family, my father, my sister, in a sense my brother, and I were all teachers.  krahn@punctuation.org

It's not easy losing a love one . you have your family and friends too help you. my deepest condolences to you and your family.

Deborah, I learned of Bill's passing from Palmcroft Baptist Church.  I was very surprised, did not know what he had gone through in recent years.  Deborah, my heart goes out to you, I have been through this and just know that the Lord will see you through.  Will be praying for you during these days.

Will never forget Bill's comment and broad smile the night he got married.  He exclaimed that it was the happiest night of his life. Of course that was during a happy time but his cheerful and optimistic spirit didn't seem to leave him in very severe health trials. Though we have seen him rarely through the many years of our lives because of living out of state, a mutual friend testified that through so many trials, Bill seemed to have a smile on his face.  He seemed to always have a welcoming ,cheerful spirit.  We were praying that the Lord would spare his life but it was not His will. Shall continue to pray for Debby and family that God will comfort the sorrow in hearts.  Dave and Sandy Heinze

   Bill, his brother Howard, my very good friend, Margo (Mrs. Howard Krahn for 50 years) & I met at ASU in the early 60's.  Bill and I were educators for Tempe Elementary Schools.   Our paths crossed often.  May good memories be of comfort to you.   You are in my prayers.  With sympathy,

Dad, I am going to miss you so much! I have so many memories I could go on and on. You were the best swimming coach, my favorite person to go to ASU football games with and my soul mate for Dairy Queen. I loved how we would sneek off to go get Whataburger and some Dairy Queen on summer nights. I truly am blessed to have been daddy's little girl and you always told me you loved me every time we talked. I will miss the way you use to say "how ya doing hun". We truly had a great relationship. Thank you for being the Best dad in the world and always being there for me and for having such a profound positive impact in my life. I love you and smile at the fact that I have a guardian angel in heaven looking out for me.
