William G. "Bill" Heeter of Glendale, Arizona passed away on July 4, 2013 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Bill was born on January 9, 1938 in Providence, Rhode Island. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Sharon, sisters Alice (Tom) Muszynki, Barbara (Myrlon) Fraley brother Charles (Wanda) Heeter his son Paul Heeter, daughters Connie (Craig) Jones, and Lisa (Patrick) Gillooly. Grandchildren Amanda Jones, Billy (Becky) Gillooly, Kody Heeter, James Gillooly, Bradley (Kendyl) Jones, Paul Heeter Jr., Christopher Gillooly, Kyle Heeter, Sara Gillooly, Andie Heeter, 5 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill retired in 2008 after 53 years of dedicated service in the ready-mix and asphalt industry. He will always be remembered as a leader whose honesty and integrity will be the cornerstone of his legacy. His customers could always count on his vast knowledge of the business and most of all his loyalty. He truly was "Mr. Concrete". Bill was a founding member of the Sahuaro 4X4 Jeep Club and he and his family have made wonderful memories for over 40 years. Over the last few years of his life Bill and Sharon enjoyed gardening, John Deere Tractors, and searching for antiques. They also looked forward to their time spent at the CJ Ranch in Mayer, Arizona surrounded by their family which was always their favorite past time. The words heard around the state of Arizona "We truly have lost a great man” Till we meet again….Willy clear. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 8, 2013 with funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Joachim & St. Anne Parrish 11625 N. 111th Ave Sun City, Arizona, interment will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W.
