Wayne Edward Stahler

Wayne E. Stahler went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 18, 2017. He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 9, 1924. His father and mother were Harvey H. Stahler and Mildred Bair Stahler. Wayne was the youngest of their three living children. His wife Evelyn and his brother Gordon and his sister Eula Faye precede him in death. Wayne was part of the "Greatest Generation" and served in the Navy during World War II. He worked for AT&T for 44 years and moved to Arizona with his wife Evelyn and children on Mother's Day in 1957.

He is survived by his son Wesley (Andrea) Stahler and his daughter Cherlyn (Mike) Faulds; his three granddaughters: Angela (Sean) Terry, Annalisa Stahler and Chelsea Faulds and two great granddaughters: Alexa Terry and Ava Terry.

Wayne was devoted to his Lord and his family and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation is Friday September 15, 2017 from 4 PM till 7 PM at A. L. Moore - Grimshaw Mortuary at 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday September 16 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church at 1500 W. Maryland Ave. Phoenix, AZ. 85015. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to either The American Cancer Society or to Shepherd of the Valley Preschool.
