I didn't know I would miss my best friend so much !

FOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN, FIVE GRANDCHILDREN, AND A WIFE WHOM YOU LOVE DEARLY.  DEAR COUSIN, YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.

It was an absolute privilege to have the opportunity to get to meet and know Mr. Wade Wallin. He is the father of my dear friend Cameo, and I can honestly say I never met a kinder or more genuine person. I was drawn to him instantly— his warmth, his authenticity, his story-telling skills, his humility—-but most importantly and notably, how much he loved his family. He would absolutely beam when talking about his children and grandchildren and was so proud to share their lives and pictures with others. His presence was warmth— kind, real, earnest, and true. He was a beautiful soul who left his mark in ways he may never even have realized. Rest easy, Mr. Wade. Your legacy is so beautifully indelible. 💙

Wade & Tracker became Nevaeh and my friends in the Skunk Creek gully. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, Wade and Tracker always made time to say hello. Nevaeh and Tracker would run the gully together chasing rabbits.

One time Tracker and a javelina had "too close" of an encounter, after healing Wade and Tracker were back walking the gully.

Wade fed an abandoned orange tabby cat every day in the gully under a specific bush. Wade found a home for "Gracie" :) my home. Gracie was a welcome member of our home for many years.

Wade was down to earth, loved God, was devoted to family, was easy to talk to, and had a dry sense of humor. Our friendship grew and I had the pleasure of meeting Liz.

What a sparkle of the Lord she is. Liz has a beautiful smile, is quick to giggle, and has a huge heart like Wade. What a blessing both of you are and will always be in the future. Thank You, Lord for the blessing of friends now and in the future at our heavenly banquet table.

Blessings of unexplainable joyful peace as you walk through this time of transition in the earthly realm Liz. You are greatly loved and respected. Thank you for your kindness and friendship over the years.

Dear Liz, Cameo, Jade and family, I’m so sorry to hear of Wades passing.  He was loved and will be missed.  I remember the many Christmas Eves spent at my house.  The family together and cousins getting to know each other❤️ I always loved seeing you and taking with Wade.  Sending you prayers that each coming day will give you comfort and peace. Wade and I have known  each other since before 3 years old. But I remember times we had when I was 3. 
We did a lot of cars together, trips with cars, talking about cars and working on cars. Making them run and getting parts off of other cars for our cars. Lots of car stuff. We lived close to each other most of our lives. Never very far apart. Wade is one of the best friends I've ever known.

Wade was truly a caring husband, father and friend. The tributes today at his service were a testament of who he truly was.  The last time I visited him with Liz at the rehab center, he still was alert and knew who we were. He was moving his feet back and forth, as to be dancing. I will never forget his smile and caring ways that he shared with his family. He especially loved the holidays and eating tamales and menudo at our home on New Year’s Day.  Rest in peace Wade, you will be missed.

I'm so very sorry for my cousin Wade. He always had something funny to say to me. I loved talking with him and just listening to him talk about his beloved cars. He will be missed. My Love and support are with Liz and my cousins and little cousins at this most difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Wade’s family; I am sorry for your loss. Wade and I worked together at Mirage and I will never forget his bright smile, friendly hello, and willingness to have a conversation. When Wade first started at Mirage he entered my room for the first time after I had recently lost my Grandfather. Wade reminded me of my own Gramps in the way he was always up to share a story about his wife, children, or grandchildren. However, Wade was also took the time to listen to me and learned about my life. I found comfort in talking with him and looked forward to sharing a laugh or smile at the end of my teaching day. I  remember leaving for maternity leave with my first child and upon returning I found a sticky note on my desk that read “I miss you, you were my very first friend here.” He is an exceptionally wonderful, kind hearted, generous, and gifted man who is so very loved.

I am so very sorry  for the loss of such a wonderful man.  I used to chat with Wade at the end of every work day. He frequently talked with my daughter, who also worked at Mirage. He would seek me out to let me know what a special young lady I had raised. He showed us both so much kindness and shared stories from his past and about his car.  I wish your family peace and comfort and pray that he is resting in happiness and health.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. I did not know Wade very long, but he took care of my classroom at Mirage and he was always a hard worker. What I will remember the most is what an incredibly nice man he was to all around him. We always stopped and chatted when he would arrive and always had kind words to share! He would listen to the rough day I had or we would talk about our families. Your family was blessed to have him!

I'm so very so to hear this. Wade and I worked together at Mirage. He was a very special man. He always asked me about my family and shared about his family in return. We all loved Wade. He was one of a kind and will always be remembered fondly. Sending you love and comfort.
