married Arthur Schroeder in 1941. Moving to Phoenix in 1950, Violet attended ASU and earned her MEd. Violet worked as a teacher and counselor at Washington High School from 1955 to 1979. She loved sewing, quilt making, photography, growing flowers and traveling, but most of all, her family, friends and co-workers. Her survivors include two sons, John (wife Judy), Bill (wife Barbara) a daughter, Gretchen, four grandchildren, April, Stephanie, Christopher and Lindy and one great grandchild, Broderick. Her Memorial service will be held at:
