Tina lost her fight with life on November 16, 2018. She was born on March 10, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona to her parents James M. Theiss and Diana Gruey Theiss. Tina lived with the effects and pain of Multiple Sclerosis for 28 years, but she did not let that define who she was or defeat her spirit. She was a miracle and an angel.
Tina graduated from Edgewood High School in Ashtabula, Ohio and of course, she was a cheerleader while going to school there. She moved to Phoenix in 1978 and attended the Phoenix School of Technology, where she earned her drafting degree.
She went on to assist the interior design of the Phoenician Resort during its construction. She loved the creative process of interior design work, it was her calling. Tina had an eye for color and texture, which brought her joy and worth.
Tina loved to ride on Harleys, fast as the wind. She enjoyed riding horses at the ranch. But most of all, she loved laying on the beach, and being in the ocean. She really thought that she belonged there. She really liked taking pictures, and voluntarily became the family photographer. If there was a great picture of her family, you can guarantee she was the one who took it. Tina loved to cook. So much, that no one ever went hungry. It was her way to connect and give love to everyone. She loved and tried to help everyone, never forgetting anyone and making sure no one was left out of her life. There was never a moment where she didn't give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Tina was always very caring and compassionate, no mater the circumstance.
Everyone always talks about the head of the family, but Tina was more important than that, she was the center of the family. Most important of all, she loved her family. She would always put their needs before hers. She was always the first to say, "I love you", and always the last to say, "I love you more". If there was anything that she could say to you now, it would be: "I love you all."
Her love and her soul will always live on through our family. Tina is survived by her husband Darrell Howard of Ahwatukee, Arizona, her daughter Ashley Sippola of Gilbert, Arizona, her son Matthew Sippola of San Tan Valley, Arizona, her stepson David Howard of Chandler, Arizona, her granddaughter Hunter Hamilton of Tonopah, Arizona, her mother Diana Gruey Theiss of Sun City, Arizona, and her brother Jamie Theiss of Mesa, Arizona.
She can never be forgotten, nor replaced. She will always be missed, and she will always be loved.
