Thomas Richard Davis

Tom was born on February 26, 1936 to Leo and Francis Davis, in Marietta, OH. After graduating from Tempe Union High School in 1954, he went into the Navy on July 1954 discharged from regular duty in July 1957. Then joined the Navy Reserves from 1957 to 1962.

He attended Arizona State University, studying Business graduating in 1966. He went to work in the Finance department for Salt River Project, kicking off a 27-year career in finance and accounting. After retiring from SRP in 1989, Tom started his own tax service.

On Aug 28, 1964 he married the love of his life, Marlene Hammond and they proceeded to stay and live in the Tempe/Mesa area for the past 57 years.

Tom is survived by his wife Marlene Davis, daughters Karen (Tom) Campbell, Tammi Davis (Mike), Linda (Don) Marczeski, five grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and his brother Leo Blaine (Buddy) Davis. He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Davis, mother, Francis Davis, sister, Sally Mason and brother, Robert Davis.
