Thomas Clark III passed away on August 20, 2019 at the age of 83. Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy, their three sons, David, Brian, Craig and Daughter-in-Law, Jody. Together they have eight gifted and special grandchildren: Jace, Chad, Logan, Paul, Cherish, Cory, Danielle and Joseph. They have 3 beautiful Granddaughter-in-laws, Celina, Brianna and Kristen.
Tom was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He was he only son of Thomas Clark Jr. and Mildred Clark. He moved to Arizona with his parents as a child because of his asthma. He lived in Phoenix and graduated from Tolleson High School. Tom studied Accounting and graduated from Arizona State College in 1957, a year before the school changed its name to Arizona State University. The same summer of his graduation, he accepted a position with the Internal Revenue Service in California and married his bride, Nancy. He took his new bride to California where they would live in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas raising their three boys until 1974. At that time, they moved back to Arizona where they resided in Moon Valley and Scottsdale. During his 33 years with the IRS, he rose to Chief Examiner with the IRS and traveled extensively throughout his Western Territory. He retired at the very early age of 55 but retirement did not last long because he took an enjoyment job with Volvo driving test cars, driving throughout Arizona. Throughout their years in Phoenix, Tom and Nancy played cards regularly, especially bridge, with a large group of friends. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, traveling annually to the California beaches and the mountains of Arizona. Tom and Nancy recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Tom will be laid to rest near his parents at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
