Theodore “Ted” Gerard Seip, 84, went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2021. He was born in Glen Cove, NY, and raised in Roslyn Heights, NY. Ted was a Navy Veteran, serving his country during peacetime on the USS Boxer and Thetis Bay. Ted moved his family to Arizona in 1976, settling in Scottsdale and then Phoenix.
Ted worked for Arizona Public Service Company in the underground lines transmission department, eventually retiring after 20+ years.
Ted is survived by his 2 children, Donna Villegas and husband Richard, and Peter Seip and wife Patti. Ted has 2 grandchildren, Caleb and Andrew Villegas.
Ted loved the outdoors, traveling all over his beloved adopted state of Arizona, on every backroad he could find. He liked to camp, hunt and fish, and especially loved discovering ancient Indian ruins. He was a member of the APS Outdoor Club and enjoyed participating in their service projects and trips even into his retirement.
Ted was a talented woodworker, could fix anything and loved hanging out in his shop, aka garage, from sunrise to sunset. He was a hard worker, wise, and honest to a fault. He lived life on his terms and had no regrets.
Ted will be greatly missed. There are no services planned at this time.
