We were so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. We both worked with him at Phoenix Welding for years. 

Neal went hunting in Kaibab many years ago
with him as well as camping.

My favorite memory of Steve was that on Veterans Day he would always shave and wear his uniform. 

He was a wonderful family man.  And we will all miss him.

I just learned of Steve's passing today. I spent a lot of time with Steve over the years here at Phoenix Welding Supply, I remember the time we built the company BBQ trailer, and all the little projects we did here. I loved to hear your stories about your tour in Vietnam, your childhood growing up in the jungle and about the cabin you and your brother shared. I know everyone will miss you. I know I do. My condolences to your family.

Steve was one of Jeff’s closest and long-time friends as well as a coworker for over 25 years. They had lots of great adventures together.  He was a brother and mentor to Jeff.  We will both miss him very much .  Love, prayers and comfort to Maryann and family.

Steve,  I just recently heard you passed away!  You stopped by PHX Welding Supply a few months ago, and I was so Happy to see you. I remember when we worked at our store on Lincoln street.   I worked with you many years.  You were always so kind to me, & my family.  The one Halloween time.  You shaved your beard. And not one person recognized you,   You pulled a good one, on all of us.   God Bless you  my friend.  Until we meet again.   Condolences to Marianne and family .

Steve was truly the best grandpa anyone could’ve ever asked for. I’ll forever be grateful for having someone who kind, generous, and loving by my side from the very day I came into this world. He taught me so many skills and facts about the world— and many times, we’ve learned new facts together. To have someone so knowledgeable and worldly in my life there to help guide me was such an incredible blessing.

Steve, I truly enjoyed the short time we shared at Phoenix Welding. I know you had forgotten more than I would ever know about welders. And as far as that goes some of the stories you shared. I couldn’t have done my job without your assistance. You were truly one of my only friends since I moved here. Thank you and God Bless

Stephen aka Steve was the best person and brother-in-law anyone could ask for. I am so thankful that God allow Steve and my sisters path to cross.  He was an amazing provider.  He loved his wife, family and friends.  He would move Heaven and  earth  for the grandkids. Whatever you needed Steve could do it. He taught my son to swim. They we in the middle of a big lake.  I will forever be grateful to him. I loved him because he loved my sister and her kids.   He was faithful and genuine.  He will truly be missed.  Until we meet again,

Steve was a great dad. He was always there for me; taking me to rehearsals and concerts, teaching me the love of nature, camping, how to change my car tires and maintain my car, use power tools and build things. My childhood memories are full of all the cool ideas I would think of and executing them with Steve. We built so many things and he taught me so much. He really empowered me to grow up to be an independent woman and encouraged me to do things on my own that some would consider to be a man's job. I always knew I could count on Steve for anything and I loved our talks and hearing his stories about his life and talking about history. He knew so much and was always willing to share advice and wisdom. Steve was also a great grandpa. He is so loved and missed by all of us. I am so thankful to have been blessed with a dad like Steve.
