Shannon Michelle Hursh, 46, died the 26th of October 2020 in her home in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the victim of domestic violence, and died a hero saving her daughter and trying to protect her son. A service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date. Shannon was cremated on the 10th of November at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
Shannon was born on the 23th of September 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona to Donna Hoover and Jim Hursh. Those who knew her know that despite Shannon’s demons, she was a loving mother and a loyal friend. She is survived by her daughter Audrey Sarver, her mother Donna Hoover, her brothers David and Douglas Hursh, and many loving cousins, aunts, and grandparents. Shannon also deeply loved her pets: Loki, Sophie, Tinkerbell, and her tortoises.

As Shannon’s daughter Audrey put it: “The one thing I’ll always remember about my mom is that she died saving a life.” Shannon’s courage and strength will never be forgotten, we will always remember her as the warrior she was.
