Sandra Toshiye Barton

Sandra Toshiye Barton (Sakato) died July 31st, 2016, at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her husband Wayne, daughter Candace, son Trevor, sister Debbie (Scott), sister-in-law Linda; uncles Nick, Art (Betty), Ted (Betty) and James (Flo); aunts Toshiye, Teri, Tye, and Susan (Dan); and numerous loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Born in Phoenix, she settled in Chandler, AZ after moving with and supporting her husband's military career. She worked for the Tempe Union School District as an aid to special needs students. Viewing and services will be held at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ. The viewing is Friday, August 12, 2016, for family from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and for family and friends from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, Phoenix, AZ.
