Salvatore (Tudy) A Balistreri

Of Tempe, AZ returned Home to God on May 12, 2013 at the age of 67. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 4, 1946 to Phillip and Madeline (Storniolo) Balistreri. He proudly served four years in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Grand Forks, ND. In 1980, he moved his family to Arizona. Sal worked for Peddlers Son Produce in Phoenix, AZ. He enjoyed golfing, going to the movies and spending time with his grandchildren: Matthew, Morgan, John and Jacob. He is preceded in death by his mother Madeline (Storniolo) Balistreri. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Lee of Tempe, AZ; Daughters, Stephanie (Josemaria) Moreno, Rebecca (Juan) Silva and Jessica (Michael) Ertell; father, Phillip Balistreri; four brothers, Joseph (Nancy), Jack, Philip and Alex; one sister, Donna (Rosario) Carini; Sister-in-law LaRee (James) Kelly and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. A Funeral Mass will be held 9:30am, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, AZ 85282 immediately followed by Interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85029.
