Russell Allen Wray, 74, passed away on August 5, 2013. Russ was born in Tuscon, Arizona, on July 23, 1939 to parents Ruth and Heether Wray. He grew up in Tucson as well. In the 70's Russ formed Wray Construction which became a leading contractor in the Valley for years. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
Russ was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lou Hobbs and brother, Terry Wray. He is survived by his wife of three years, Kathie Rossow; his broher Heether (Bud) Wray; daughter, Bonnie Wray Simmons (Todd); son, Kevin Wray (Tamara); and mother of his children, Jackie Wray; grandchildren Logan, Ethan and Cooper Simmons, and Savannna, Jackson, Davis and Haven Wray; and his dog Mr. Lucky.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 9th at Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona at
3:00 PM. A reception immediately following.
