Ruby A. Salazar

Ruby Ann Salazar, 69, was born September 19, 1945 and left us peacefully March 19, 2015 with family members by her side. Loving Wife, Mother, Grand-Mother and Great Grand-Mother, Sister, Friend. She was born at Tempe St Luke's Hospital to her loving parents Matilda and Charlie Romo. She was preceded in death by her precious sons Albert, Robert, her parents and sister Sally. Ruby enjoyed hearing her oldies but goodies music every morning. She was always ready to host parties or events at her home, she enjoyed it so much. She dedicated and took pride to help and care for her Grand-Children Ray Jr., Eric, Rayna and Eddie at her home. Ruby lived a happy life, she will be remembered for having a joyous contagious laugh and a smile that welcomed you to her heart immediately. She was a gift to our family, she was the ultimate older sister we all loved. For her passion and love to her faith and her LDS church Family. Ruby is survived by her Wonderful, Caring husband Joe of 51 years; eldest daughter Sarah Jean (Jesse Urias) her sons Joe Jr (Tracy A.) and Raymond; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings Charlie Romo (Rachel), David Romo (Gina), Mary (Richard); sister-in laws Mary Kuehlem, Frances Chavez (Augustine); brother in law Alvaro; nieces; nephews; many wonderful cousins and Loyal Friends whom she loved and cared for very much. Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 26, 2015 at 11:00am preceded by a viewing at 9:00am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , 650 W. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042.
