Ruben Bacilio Torres

Ruben passed away on 12/31/2020. He is survived by his Wife Arlene Torres, Children, Leslie, Christopher, Hannah, Rebecca, and Steven, 6 Grand children, 3 Great grandchildren, Siblings, Victoria, David, Terry, Nieves, Rachel, and Simon, and many friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He owned his own refrigeration business and worked in that field for over 30 years. When he was younger he loved working with children and was active within his church as a royal ranger commander. He loved the Yankees, watching baseball, and sitting around talking statistics about the players. Ruben was a little league coach to his sons when they were young and loved teaching them all about the mechanics of baseball. He also loved fishing and being out on the lake whenever he could. Ruben loved taking his boat out on the water and catching fish with his wife and family. He loved watching movies and always joking around with others. Ruben was a hard worker, dependable, and always there whenever anyone needed. He was a man of many talents and could fix anything he put his mind to. He was one of a kind and made an impression on everyone he came across with his larger than life personality. He always said what was on his mind and could make you laugh without even trying. The world will not be the same without him and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be held on 1/25/21 at United Family Church 2212 W. Maricopa St. Phoenix, AZ. 85009 from 11am-1:00pm.
