Our loving Father and devoted husband passed away September 24, 2016. He is survived by wife Carole and their children, Mary Ann Walsh (Mike), R.C. Schumacher (Max and Jackson) and Jane Dolan (Joe, Katie, Annie). He is also survived by his brother Jim (Marilyn) of Hill City, S.D. Bob was born in Mitchell, S.D. To Julius and Helen Schumacher. He served in the U.S. Army and completed law school at University of South Dakota. He went on to be one of South Dakota's youngest State Representatives. Bob retired from Bank One (Valley National Bank). He loved his family with all of his heart. He was a kind, gentle, generous and handsome man. He will be resting in peace in his beloved South Dakota at the Black Hills National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Disabled American Veterans.
