Robert Eugene Purvis, simply known by friends and family as "Bob", passed away on 02 May, 2021, from pre-existing medical conditions. He was 66.
Bob was born on October 28th, 1954, in Vicksburg, MS to Robert Glynn Purvis and Vanice Lorraine Buck. He spent many years moving with family to places like Millville, PA, Hammonton, N.J., Grants, N.M., and eventually Phoenix, AZ where he graduated from Moon Valley High School. He also attended Glendale Community College where he met his soul mate, Sherrie, whom he married, thus bringing together a wonderful family of six to include her and her two children.
Bob loved the outdoors, particularly Four Peaks, a beautiful wilderness preserve in Tonto National Forest. He camped and hiked there often with his family and friends. He also loved puzzles, games, darts, and collecting odds and ends. His kindness was matched only by the greatness of his spirit.
Bob is survived by his brother, four children, and their families.
