Robert Wayne Philpott, age 77, passed away on August 15, 2021 in New River, Arizona. Robert was born on December 21, 1943 in Akron, Ohio, son of the late DeWayne and June (Nee Scott) Philpott. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Joyce; sons: David (Tracey) and Michael (Shannon) Philpott; brother: Christopher Philpott; sister: Debra Sawhill; grandsons: Zachary, Brysen, Carrson, and Justin Philpott; and great granddaughter: Alexanderia Garcia-Philpott. Robert was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Makayla Valentine Philpott and brother: Keith Philpott. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley (16117 N. 76th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85260) or the American Cancer Society.
