Lingenfelter, Robert W. Robert (Bob) Lingenfelter, age 85 of Gilbert and formerly of Phoenix, passed away on December 21, 2012 at The Villa Hospice in Mesa, Az. He was born on June 17, 1927 in Boicourt, Kansas. The youngest son of the late Lineus William Lingenfelter and Bertha Mae (O'Rear) Lingenfelter. Bob started his career after serving in the US Army at Palmer Mfg in Phoenix, AZ as an industrial engineer doing Mfg time studies, and ended his career as a packaging engineer at Motorola in Scottsdale, AZ. He loved fishing, listening to gospel music and watching western movies. He was well known as Mr. Fix-It since he enjoyed building things in his wood-working shop. Bob was a member of Royal View Baptist Church in Gilbert, AZ. Bob is survived by his son; David Lingenfelter (Sandi), grand-daughter; Carrie Lingenfelter, grandson; Jason Lingenfelter, great-grandson; Jayden Lingenfelter. He is preceded in death by his wife; Lucille in 2011, his sons; Robert Jr in 1984 and Timothy in 1990; sisters; Jessie and Aida, and brothers; Albert (Buck), Delbert (Del), Gilbert (Bus) and Herbert (Jack).
