Robert "Bob" Anthony Fasano, 70, passed away on July 1, 2017 in Tempe, Arizona. He is survived by his 4 children Anthony, Michael, Noelle and Leanna and their spouses, Margaret, Michelle, Vince and Brandon; 9 grandchildren: Ashley Marie Fasano, Nicholas Robert Fasano, Tyler Ryan Bergstrom, Makenzie Lynn Bergstrom, Lauren Elizabeth Fasano, Christopher Michael Fasano, Donovan Michael Thelander, Kassidy Rae Thelander, and Aubree Josephine McCoy; his brothers Bruno Fasano and Joseph Fasano. He was preceded in death by his brother Vincent Fasano and his parents, Bruno and Josephine Fasano.
Bob was born in 1946 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Forest View High School in 1964. He spent 1966-1968 serving in the Army as an E-4 specialist who was awarded a sharpshooter medal, as well as a good conduct medal. Upon his honorable discharge from the army, Bob married Cynthia DeOrio in 1969. They settled in Elk Grove Village, IL where they raised their 4 children.
In 1988, Bob and Cindy decided to move to Scottsdale, Arizona. Bob enjoyed living in a state with constant sunshine and beautiful weather. He was an avid tennis player, and Arizona's warm climate was the perfect environment for him. In 1990, along with his sons, Bob opened Century Automotive in Tempe, Arizona. In 2005 Bob accepted a position with Autologue and was heavily involved in the auto parts computer industry at the time of his passing.
Bob was well known for his sense of humor, generosity and large personality. He was a friend to everyone. His loss will be deeply felt by many.
