Robert "Eme" Emerson 82 of Phoenix, passed away on March 24, 2016, Bob is survived by his wife Laura, daughter Michelle, son Scott, daughter-in-law Daphne, grandchildren Derrick, Chelsea, Taylor and great-grandchildren, Melody and Rose. He is also survived by his sister Deborah, nieces Karen (Max) and Barbara (Jeff), nephews Stephen (Kelly) and Frank (Sylvia) and many great nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Irene and father, William. Bob especially enjoyed family dinners and activities; taking photos of the grandkids and putting the photos on the computer. Bob honorably served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at General Motors, Fisher body Division, Willow Springs, Illinois. And retired from Motorola following many years of working at the plants in the Phoenix and Mesa area. Bob's greatest passion was participating in the many golf games with the Motorola Employee's and Retiree's Golf Clubs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31st from 6 PM to 8 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary Chapel, 2350 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix. A committal service with military honors will be held on Friday, April 1st at 9:00 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix.
