Rhonda Lynn Griffin

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife and mother, Rhonda Lynn Griffin on October 3, 2019. Her selfless heart that beat the rhythm of her children’s souls, decided to solely share that rhythm with the angels above.

She was born on March 4, 1955 to the late Herman and Sibyl Smith of Phoenix, Arizona. Rhonda married the man of her dreams on June 21, 1986, Don F. Griffin in Munds Park, Arizona. She excelled as an Engineering Hardware Manager for Honeywell Aerospace, where she was loved and admired for over twenty-five years.

Her gift for creating the perfect ambience with a combination of “one of a kind” décor, music, food, and sense of humor magnificently brought together her family and friends to create lifelong, cherished memories. She never stopped sharing her love for music and dancing, even in the kitchen.

Rhonda is survived by her loving husband of thirty-three years, Don F. Griffin; her four children, Andraya L. Telesco, Randee P. Marafioti, Dawnee N. Hunt, and Kolton J. Griffin; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Griffin, Gage, Carter, Chloe, Wyatt, Emma, Beau and many other loving family and friends.

Join us on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 am to celebrate Rhonda’s life at the Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship Church at 906 W. Peoria Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85029. Family and friends are also welcome to join Rhonda’s family back at the Griffin home at 1:00pm for food and refreshments.
