Born in Sweetwater, Texas to Angel A. and Ysabel S. Almanza on January 1, 1940 the third of eleven children.
Ramon was preceded in death by his daughter Denise Watson.
He is survived by his wife Dominga R. Almanza, his daughters; Diane Almanza, Patricia (Sergio) Dominguez and Irma (David) Wallace, son; Raymond C. Almanza, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel 5921 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix. Interment service 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Holy Cross Cemetery 10045 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale. A reception will be held following the commital service at Funeraria Del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
