Pinkie B. Smith, III, 71, of Maricopa, Arizona, passed away on March 26, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, GA on November 5, 1945 to Christine and Pinkie B. Smith, Jr. Pinkie graduated from Washington High School, received his Associate's Degree from Fort Valley State College, and attended Atlanta Technical Institute. He married Sharon Johnson on January 10, 1989.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Maricopa. Pinkie was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, and his beloved son Jonathan Sylvester Smith. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon, daughter Melissa Smith, 1 grandson, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Services will be held at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix AZ 85042. Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00pm; Graveside service will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 2:30pm.
