Phyllis Ann Murdock

Phyllis was born December 23, 1939 in Fort Wayne Indiana, to Arthur Flotow and Mary (Minier) Flotow. For much of her young life, Phyllis was lovingly raised by Glen Trout and Frieda Trout. Phyllis was blessed with an extensive family that included many siblings. Phyllis was united in marriage to Ray Murdock on January 31, 1958. Ray preceded her in death on October 12, 1997.

After marriage, Phyllis and Ray settled in Phoenix Arizona where they raised their family. Throughout much of her adult life, Phyllis was a dedicated homemaker and mother to her two children, and a mother figure to many. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them.

A longtime active member of the Larkspur Christian Church, Phyllis was their bookkeeper for many years. It was through the church that Phyllis made many lifelong friends who will miss her tremendously.

Survivors include her children: Doug Murdock and Melanie Armeli; their spouses Dana Murdock and Michael Armeli; grandchildren: Nicole Armeli, Alexandria Murdock and Emily Murdock and great grandchildren: Cayden Walker, Clark Gibson, Camdyn Walker, Ravaelynn Boyd and Trinity Fleet. Extended family includes: Dick Trout, Linda Fancil, Vicky Smith, Penny Smith and Chris Smith.

Phyllis will be dearly missed by many and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at A. L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuaries Bethany Chapel in Phoenix, on Monday, January 4th from 10 am until time of funeral services in the chapel at 11 am.
