Ray spent most of his adult life as an Ironworker in the construction industry and was a proud member of the Arizona Ironworkers Union Local 75. He was also a dedicated Vietnam Veteran and was actively involved in, and President of the Veteran’s club in his local community.
Ray will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his children: daughter Tori Hauser (Chris), son Ryan Bishop (Kristy), daughter Kimberly Cadieux, grandchildren Dakota, Abbi, Dylan, Payton, Kendyl, Liam, and Bradly, as well as siblings Jessilyn Shaffer (Tom), Gloria Tharpe (Terry), and Margie Gaye Okeson. Ray is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth E. Booher, father, Robert A. Bishop, and stepfather Bill Booher.
Services to honor and remember Ray's life are planned for February 15th at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral procession to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona where he will be laid to rest. Arrangements entrusted to Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
