Phillip Graydon Hudson Jr. was born in Washington DC on 09/04/1944 to Phillip and Edna Hudson. Shortly after the family moved to Tucson, Arizona where he was raised. He graduated from Tucson High School and briefly attended the University of Arizona. He then joined the Navy and served on the USS Beal during Vietnam. After finishing his tour of duty, Phil returned to Arizona and completed his education at Northern Arizona University. While at NAU he met and fell in love with Pamela Swallow, who he later married and had three daughters. He worked as a real estate appraiser. He was known for his puns and jokes. He played the guitar and a banjo that he made himself. Phil passed away from Vascular Dementia on 11/09/2021.
He is survived by his three daughters Erin Hudson, Amanda Rood, Jill Reiter and their husbands Theron Rood and James Reiter, his sisters, Phyllis Bering and Kathy Bering and their husbands Paul & Chris Bering and 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. We know he is in heaven with all his loved ones who preceded him in death. He will be greatly missed.
