Today, we celebrate the life of P.J. Let us remember her louder than life laughter, (that was so contagious) and sense of humor, as well as the love and joy she brought into our lives.
P.J., worked her entire life and loved to travel and dine. She was a woman who knew how she liked things done. She would tell you how to do them, and wouldn't hesitate to let you know if you did it wrong.
An occasional trip to the casino, shopping, dining, massages, sewing and being with friends and family, were some of the things she enjoyed doing in her spare time. Most of all she loved being with her dog Layla. She lived her life to the fullest. Skydiving and water skiing was one of the many adventures P.J. experienced.
Once diagnosed with the sickness that took her life, all the things she loved to do came to an end, only to be replaced with many doctor visits and surgeries. Her favorite place to eat after her doctor visits was Carolina's for the Red chili burrito and Jamaica.
P.J. remained positive and cheerful throughout her journey and was a fighter until the very end. She came into the doctor's office with a smile and left with laughter and a bigger smile. They loved her positivity and hugs!
P.J.'s greatest treasure was her dog Layla, who sadly passed away just three days prior to her passing. P.J. is survived by her father, six brothers, four sisters, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends. Her mother, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.
May P.J. 's memory continue to inspire and uplift us as we navigate this world without her. Together, we can honor her legacy and cherish the moments, by being kind, respectful and helping others while also being there for one another.
