Pauline Pearl Johnson Judd, passed away in her home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the age of 89. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 27, 1924 and was the youngest of 10 children born to Ivan Clare Johnson & Anna Elesa Fredericksen.
Pauline graduated from North High School and attended Lamson Business College and BYU-Provo. She also worked as a secretary to the manager at Montgomery Ward and a stenographer for Mountain Bell. She served a full time mission in 1945-47 for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northwestern States Mission. She was married to Zedic Junior Judd in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on May 27, 1949 and enjoyed 40 years of marriage before Zed passed away on March 20, 1990.
She is survived by her 5 children: Kristyne Miller (Wayne), Dan Judd (Lily), Gary Judd (Suzanne), Susan Johnson (Robert), and Cory Judd (Kimberly-deceased); 25 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren; as well as three sisters-in-law: Karen Johnson, Grace Johnson and Dorothy Johnson.
Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions including Relief Society President, Young Women President and Primary President.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1316 E. Cheery Lynn Road with a viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, Phoenix, AZ.
