Patricia Ann Winters

She is survived by her husband Harold of 55 years, her sons James and Chip, her grandchildren Kim, Amy, Becky, Amber, Laura and Joshua, also by 5 great grandchildren, her sisters Beverly and Carolyn and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son Eric (1961), son Steven (1994) and daughter Cindy (2012).

Pat had a BA from ASU and a Masters from U of A in Library Science. She worked for Glendale Union High School District from ‘74to ’97, at Sunnyslope, Washington and Glendale High’s Librarian from 77-97 where she worked with and met numerous good friends. She enjoyed traveling and camping across America with her family. Then snow skiing later in life painting, going on cruises throughout the world, card playing with her friends. Being a librarian she was an avid reader all her life, She supported Phoenix Children’s Hospital, The Salvation Army, St Mary’s Food Band and the Humane Society.

In lieu of flowers any one of these charities would welcome your donation in her memory. The family of Pat would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for all their care. They would also be a good choice.
