Aunt Patti is indescribable, irrepressible, unforgettable, irreplaceable. She was my simultaneous mentor and playmate. She was my mom when I was far from home, my co-conspirator in mischief, my cheerleader in the face of self-doubt. She was a stifled giggle in the back pew at church, a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, an adventure waiting to happen. She was larger than life, and I loved her fiercely.

Aunt Patti will live on in a thousand precious moments and a handful of memorable escapades. She will live on in the semi-naughty words she taught me and the godly principles she lived in front of me. She will live on in sidewalk chalk and root beer floats and Christmas name drawings. Her spirit will linger in the Rumpus Room with the old, dusty game of Clue and the long-retired Atari. Her essence will hover over every family conversation, every laugh, every requisite dish of pickles and olives.

She was wise and wild and wonderful. Without her, the world seems a little dimmer, a little duller, a little lonelier, a little emptier. She will be missed forever and loved eternally.

patti will be missed in my life -she always helped me kids ministry at my church in Hillsboro or ( Harvest Community church) she would help at all the big events and be in charge if making the crafts for all the kids -she would just be calm and take time to talk with each one of the kids -they loved all the things she planned -I will miss spending time and sharing ideas with you Patti

When I think of Patti, I think of the verse in the Bible where Jesus said,“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” One of Patti's greatest gifts was making everyone feel important, and that was especially true for the children and teens. My daughter once described Patti as always being "the biggest kid in the room". At family gatherings Patti took time to really listen to and spend time with each person, but especially with the younger generations. She saw the patential in each individual.

Patti was my sister, and one of my closest friends.  I could tell her stuff I couldn't tell anyone else. When I was young she used to take my brother chuck and I to the rose festival parade every year, and to hockey games.  We had so much fun together and it was all on her dime.  One day when I was in third grade I was coming home late from school, and Patti came looking for me.  The reason I was late was because I had been way-laid by a bully.  Patti turned the corner on our street just in time to see the guy slug me in the face.  Patti ran accross the street, grabbed the guy and slugged him just like he slugged me.  He went off crying and never bothered me again. Patti really loved me, and that was not the only time Patti came through for me.  I could write a book about how she came through for me several times and what each time meant to me.

When our kids were younger, Patti and I would take them to the Jantzen Beach Shopping Center for pizza and a merry-go-round ride at least two Saturdays a month.

we were very close as where ever she was, if you looked close enough you would see me after I came home from Vietnam we were very close as she is now with the Lord I know that we will be together with the rest of the family when we go home.

I will always remember eating spaghetti Os at that house she lived at over on Albina St., and the masking tape line on the floor to keep us far enough back from the TV that the radiation wouldn't damage our eyes. Then there were the cookie monster cupcakes at that Albertson's that is no longer there and the fact that she had a hand in taking me and one of my brothers to our first hockey game. Mostly though, I remember Aunt Patti as a kind and understanding person. Although I will miss her, I am glad to know that she is in heaven. Someday we will have unlimited time to catch up on stuff.

It is hard to put into words what to say when your first cousin passes away. They are your first friends besides your siblings. We had a great time growing up together at our "Nana's" home. Patti was fun and real. I am so glad we recently connected on Facebook. Love and hugs to Mark, Auntie Nan, and the rest of the family.

Mark, we're very sorry hear about Pattie. Only met her once when you two came up to see Mom,I enjoyed the time we spend together. Our prayers are with y and your family . All our Love  Your cousin Carol and  Family

One thing that I will forever miss is Aunt Patti's fun-loving personality --abundant with laughter.  The good times with Aunt Patti and her winning sense of humor were priceless and extremely important in my life as I grew up and influential as I defined myself.  My personality is reflective of Aunt Patti's influence in my life.  I will be always grateful for that influence and will treasure the abundance of good times we shared during the last 37 years.

Patti was my sister, and she was my best friend next to my husband and my Lord, Jesus Christ.  I miss her every day.  She was truly a blessing in my life.

Patti was not only my sister in law but a very close friend.  We would have great times together.  We will all miss her very much but her memories will live on.

Patty was my nephew Mark Wilson's wife of many years. I only had the privilege of meeting her one time and was very impressed by her friendliness,helpfulness and extreme kindness.My sincere prayers are with her and her family.

Patti worked for me at Tree Rings in Phoenix, as recently as the last 7 months of 2012 and into January 2013.  

Patti was one of the greatest blessings in my life and I believe for those of us at Tree Rings who worked with her.  Her upbeat personality and love for Christ and life was evident in all she did.  Her love for Christ, her passion for life, her love of Gods creation, her Love for all those people she encountered.  She was one of the best employees I've ever had.  Although she will missed, she had such an impact in this world in so many wonderful ways.  I am blessed to have known her, and so thankful for all her encouragement and prayers almost every day I saw her.
 
We recently planned to hire her back.  She was excited to come and work again.  We were so excited to have her.  Our prayers are with your entire family during this difficult time.

To the family of a wonderful woman, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Patti at PCC and she was such a kick in the pants. She would walk across the campus to show me the jewelry she was making. I always enjoyed Patti.

I worked with Patti at PCC.  I was in the Cascade campus admissions office and would call her often for advise on a student account, etc.  I once made a HUGE mistake with a student who had been accepted onto the basketball team by the coach.  He gave me the students admission form and I entered it into the system.  One Monday morning a few weeks later, I got a call from Patti about the student.  He lived in Canada and not the local address he had given me and when trying to get across the border, was stopped because his application had been processed as instate and not international.  In Patti's usual calm way, she told me about getting a call from the border crossing, helping out the student to get across to the U.S. and reminded me that Canada was another country.  We got many laughs years later when we saw each other as I would say, "Is Canada still another country?  Or have we taken it over now."  She was the best.  I always felt comfortable calling her her information.  I counted her as a friend and not just a co-worker.  I was deeply saddened to hear this news and want to express my sympathies to the family as they go through their loss.  She was a great woman and well loved at PCC too.
