Patricia Ann Shumate

Pat was born on August 24, 1941 to Warren & Martha Coles in Penn's Grove, New Jersey. Pat was raised primarily by her grandmother and attended St. James Catholic School in Penn's Grove for 12 years.

Pat married her husband, Bill, in 1963 in Pitman NJ. Shortly after Pat and Bill moved to Colorado Springs where the spent the next 12 years. In 1979 the family relocated to Tempe, AZ.

Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years (Bill) two sons (Bill and Rich) her daughter in law (Cheryl) and granddaughter (Nicole).

Pat was a active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was chairperson of the Women's Organization for 35 years. She was a stay at home mom and dedicated her life to raising her sons and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1800 E. Libra, Tempe, a reception will follow the service in Hanley Hall.
