It is with great sadness that the Molina family announces the passing of Oscar Ramon Molina. He passed away on Aug 29 at the very young age of 49 surrounded by his devoted wife Kathy of 25 years; daughter Karicia, and sons Sergio and Lino. He was preceded in death by his son Angel. Oscar was blessed to have two grandchildren Emiliano and Zoey.
Oscar was born January 5, 1972 in Mexicali, Mexico to Ramon and Esperanza Molina. He moved to Phoenix soon after. Oscar had two sisters, Veronica Carreon (Jaime), Adriana Zozaya (Juan) and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He graduated from South Mountain High School furthering his education at RSI where he earned his Masters and was in the process of completing his Apprenticeship with Arizona Sheet Metal Workers Local #359.
In his spare time he coached two seasons of little league baseball. Oscar was a devout Catholic and loved the Lord. He adored his children and grandchildren and had a soft spot for any child that crossed his path. He enjoyed life to the fullest with skateboarding, break dancing, cruising and who can forget his passion for music which sparked his hobby DJ KLAS. His favorite band was Motley Crue hands down but it didn't stop his love for all genres and decades of music. Oscar had a knack for playing just the right song to keep the crowd going and it was always a good time. He attended numerous concerts with his "concert buddy" wife Kathy.
Please join us in celebrating his "Home Sweet Home Tour" where the "music just got better in heaven". Where there is music there is Oscar. The Molina family would greatly appreciate everyone wearing their favorite concert T-Shirt to his visitation to honor Oscar and his love for music.
