Norman Kramer passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the age of 83. He was born on January 8, 1931, and grew up in Kansas. Norman proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Donna Coerver in 1956 and the couple settled in Springfield, Illinois. Norman was employed with NCR Corporation for 39 years, and then retired to Glendale, Arizona. Norman is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Donna; daughter, Lynde Anderson (husband, Jon) of Glendale, Arizona; and son, James Kramer of Foster City, California. Norman and Donna have three grandchildren: Lauren, Ashton, and Colton Anderson. Norman is also survived by three brothers: Elfred Kramer (wife, Barbara), Donald Kramer, and Rev. Loren Kramer (wife, Arlene). He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Fred and Alvina Kramer, and sister, Lois (Kramer) Kusik. A memorial service celebrating Norman’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 4001 W. Beardsley Road, Glendale, AZ 85308.
