She married Earl Cooper in 1948. In 1950 Norma relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. She was the proud mother of eight children.
Norma worked as a seamstress, a school cook and a homemaker. She retired from work in 1994.
As an Avondale elementary school cook, she fed thousands of school kids over the years and most of them remembered her for years after they left the school.
Norma enjoyed spending time with her family and her church. She was a great cook and enjoyed travelling, crocheting and watching Westerns on television.
Norma was the Matriarch of the family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Her wisdom and love extended beyond family and affected friends, neighbors and even strangers.
Preceding Norma in "going home to be with the Lord", in addition to her parents are her brothers, L.C. Robinson and Willie Robinson; her sisters, LeRuth Doss and Precious Jean Crockett and her second oldest son Jackie Williams.
