Nevin was born on March 16, 1956, in Morgantown, WV to James and Sarah McMillen. He was an active US Marine for 6 years, a truck driver, and a full-time welder. He worked on many welding jobs including submarines in Quonset Point, RI, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Spire in Scottsdale, AZ. But he was most proud to have worked on the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
While welding was his trade, he cared most for his family. One way he showed that love was through entertaining. He enjoyed having people over to swim in his pool. He also loved to use his BBQ and smoker for them whenever possible. He had a passion for cooking great food, especially if he could share it. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make everyone smile. His laugh will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Sonia Marie McMillen; his siblings Patty and Alain, Linda and Joe; his children Jeannie, Cynthia, Casey and Mike, Jake and Gina; his grandchildren Mackenzie, Cadance, Bryndell, Bristie, Lily and Owen; additionally, his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Sarah and his sister Cindy.
A service will be held for him at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Glendale, AZ. The date is yet to be determined.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will remain forever in our hearts.
