My Mother, my beautiful Mother. I miss her so much. Every day is a little worse than the day before. I get comfort from remembering the times when I was taking care of her and she looked up at me with so much love in her eyes and so much gratefulness, that it took my breath away. I will always be thankful and count it an honor that I could keep her here at home and care for her. She really was the best of the best mothers ever. I will love her forever!!!

Dear Lee, Lynn, Trishia, and all:  These are times I am most grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It gives me sanity.  I don't have to wonder if you are going to make it.  You are and you will.  I don't have to grieve thinking I will never see Mildred again.  I will.  I know God lives, and I know Jesus Christ is his only begotten Son.  I have studied His promises regarding a time when there will be "no more tears."  That time will come.  Try to keep an eternal perspective.  It isn't over.  Love you much. Hey Mamas,
I didn't get to know Grandma fully, as many who mourn her did. However, I did get to know the blessings she left this side of heaven - her Family and Friends. The kind words, happy hearts, good memories, and even the pains of loss all speak of someone who fulfilled their command to "be fruitful and multiply." I mourn I didn't get to know her more, but I rejoice I got to know her at all. Bless God, He continually gives us more reasons to sing, "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!" O:)

I have very fond memories of Sis. Fredericks, who became my adopted Grandmother the last few years of her life. I had the privilege of attending church with Grandma for many years at Gospel Center Church. Her ready smile and warm friendship was natural, she was a wonderful Christian Lady who lived what she believed. There is no doubt in my mind that Grandma has made it safely HOME and one day I will see her again! I love you Grandma!!

To the entire Frederick Family - I love you and I'm praying for peace for your family over great grandma's passing.  I'm also rejoicing over her being able to have this time with Jesus.  She is enjoying her heavenly body I am sure.  You are in my thoughts.

To all the Frederick family -it has been an honor and privilege to have your mother in my life and be part of your family. She was a wonderful lady and I will always have fond memories of her and her smile. My thoughts are with all of you.

Christmas night, 1966, I met Mom for the first time.  About four hours later, I proposed to Lynn and became Mom's future Son-in-law.  As I reflect on the last 47 years, I am aware of how truly blessed I have been to call her Mom.  Lynn and I were privileged to make our home her home for the last six and a half years and honored to be her primary caretakers during her final year on earth.  A couple of days before her Home going, I said, "I always wanted you to meet my mother and now you are going to meet her."  I am sure, by now, they have had some good talks.  I was blessed to have a wonderful mother and doubly blessed to have Mom in my life.  Her Godly life and 47 years of memories enrich my life.  I will always love you, Mom.  Precious memories, how they linger...

Our memories go back to that little street in El Mirage where you lived a few houses from us.  Your mother was a seamstress and our mother was too.  We remember that one day, you had on some new dresses that we liked, and you liked what we had . . . so we traded . . . without asking our mothers!!!
Your mother always seemed to be happy . . . and I am sure your mother and our mother are now sharing stories in Heaven!
Truly, Mildred will be missed by all who knew and loved her!

Our (Henley family) memories of Mildred and the whole wonderful Frederick family goes back to our earliest childhood.I have no doubt that our heavenly Father placed our families together.Mildred will always be in our most treasured memories. I'm happy for her entrance into heaven, but our loss of her presence will take awhile.
