Mickey Wilcox

Mabel “Mickey” Wilcox, age 83, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on September 9, 2013 in Glendale, Arizona. Mickey was born in Mobile, Alabama on February 1, 1930. She was an amazing kind spirited woman, who will be deeply missed. She married the late Raymond Wilcox in 1964 in Valdosta, Georgia. She had lived in New Orleans, Texas and Florida before moving to Phoenix, in 1968. She enjoyed working for Motorola where she was employed for over 20 years. She later worked at P.T. Coe Elementary School. In her free time, Mickey enjoyed reading, sewing and crochetting.

Mickey will joyfully reunite in heaven with her beloved mother Jessie Marie;Sister Evelyn; Husband Raymond and her daughter Carla Rae. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving daughters Paula Lyon and Laura Ojeda; Grandchildren Jessica, Patti, Casandra, Vanessa, Briana and Miranda; Four great-grandsons;three great-granddaughters and two more great-grandsons that are expected to join the family later this year.

A Memorial Service will begin at 6:30 pm on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Greer Wilson Chapel 5921 W. Thomas Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85033.
