Michelle Jean McCue

Michelle passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her family surrounded her. Michelle was born in Phoenix, Arizona on June 17, 1948. She was the fourth daughter of the late Mary and Eugene Gorman. Michelle graduated from South Mountain High School in 1966 and married the late David McCue in 1967. Michelle was a remarkably generous woman, spending her life giving of her time and self to others. From volunteering in her community, mentoring school children, teaching and taking classes at the Franciscan Renewal Center and just being available to help out anyone in her large family and network of friends. She loved to laugh and sing and did so often without abandon. Michelle is survived by her daughter Monica, son Mark, son-in-law Ryan, daughter-in-law Dolores, grandson Noah, step-granddaughters Mickenzie and Kaysie, her sisters Bonnie and Elaine, as well as numerous other family members and friends she thought of as family. Michelle was a loving wife, mother and friend. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2pm at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 West Ray Road, Chandler, Arizona.
