Michelle Ann Johnson

31st March 1972 – 5th August 2022

Born in Bountiful, Utah to Linda Ann Johnson and Ronald Delmarr Johnson at 2:33 pm. She weighed 8 pounds and was 21 inches long with blonde hair. At two years old, moved to Anaheim, California where she went through school and played sports until 17 years old. She then moved to San Jose, California where she completed 10th and 11th grade and played school basketball. She was always tall like her Dad so she played center. Her senior year, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she graduated from Barry Goldwater High School. She then completed an MA Technical School along with attending Paradise Community College for her Associate’s Degree in Business for 2 years.

She met and married her husband Mark Edward Roop in Boulder City, Nevada and they had 3 girls; LeAnne Joy Roop (12-29-2003), Marisa Michelle Roop (4-19-2005) and Addyson Delores Roop (2-17-2010). As a family, they lived in a self-storage business and ran it as partners. She in the office, he the handyman. In 2016, she went to work for Fedex and bought a home in Phoenix for her family.

Her surviving parents and siblings are, mother; Linda Brunson Miller (Jeff), Ronald Delmarr Johnson (dad), Mark Edward Roop and three girls LeAnne, Marisa, and Addyson Roop. Michael Ronald Johnson (Brother), cousins; Taylor, Chloe and Saysha. She has aunts and uncles, many cousins who love her.

We celebrate her life today a strong smart, courageous, beautiful woman who fought adversity for years.

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is in Heaven now with her grandparents and any family that has passed on.

We will join her one day as we strive to live and fulfill our lives like she did. It’s not good bye my Darling daughter, Mom will see you one day.

She will be laid to rest at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85027. It is located close to her home so her girls can visit frequently.
