Too many memories. One of so many things Michael like to do was hike. He would drag me to the OUTSIDE and help me appreciate nature.  We hiked the West Fork Trail in Sedona twice.  Him, billy-goating up the mountain side and me chugging behind. We discovered other trails in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills. He and I discussing the world and its issues, listening to his audio books while we kicked up little puffs of dirt and rock under the sun. It was part of our little world and one of the things we enjoyed doing together. I also remember the day we spent at the Musical Instrument Museum. Michael and I spent the entire day inside that building marveling at all the different instruments and cultures we had never seen. We played in the experimental music room, where you could touch all the instruments and all the adults were making more noise than their children. He and I hit giant gongs and drummed away on ancient drums, giggling like fools. I could go on and on, but what I really want known is that this is a man who took the time to teach me patience and true love. It has been an honor to be loved by him and I will miss him so very, very, much. I love you Michael. Rest easy My Love.

To his Family – Thank you for making me a part of yours. I hope your grief abates quickly. May you remember the best of Michael.
