Matthew Daniel Samora, 33, was born on September 11, 1979 in Phoenix, Arizona to Vincent Samora and April Coppock. He passed away on June 10, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a jokester, brightening up people’s lives with his wonderful sense of humor. He was an Arizona Cardinal’s fan, wearing his team’s jersey with pride. Matthew’s favorite pass times included listening to music, playing poker, he also loved to watch That 70’s show. At the time of his passing he was employed by R& R Imaging. His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Matthew was a proud father who loved his children Matthew Jr., Graciela, and Olivia.
Those left to mourn his passing include his wife Susanna Mora; His loving children, Matthew Jr., Graciela, and Olivia; Parents Vincent Samora and April Coppock; Brother Adam Samora; Sisters Crystal Torres and Monica Samora; Grandma and Grandpa Wilson; Nana and Tata Alvarez; also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The honor of being pallbearers will be extended to Adam Samora, Junior Rios, Peter Alvarez, Jose Alvarez, Cristobal Alvarez, and Mark Alvarez.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday June 22, 2013 at 10:00am with funeral service following at 12:00pm at The Serenity Chapel in the Greenwood Cemetery grounds, 2300 W. Van Buren St. Phoenix, AZ 85008 (chapel located on the North side of the cemetery). Following the chapel service, Matthew will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery.
