Mary was born on December 12th, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. Mary exceled in everything she did growing up. She loved to swim, did exceptional in school, and at an early age found a love for baking and exploring her culinary side. Mary attended Mundelein College in Chicago and while there, she met the Love of her Life, Jim Pyrz. In 1968, at the age of 21, her and Jim were married. They spent the next 54 years together happily married and celebrating a beautiful life together. Mary was always up for a new adventure and loved to travel. Her life with Jim had them reside in many places including Illinois, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, finally making her last home in Arizona. Mary was a tremendous mother and was a homemaker for many years taking care of David and Philip and always making sure that there were savory and sweet treats for friends and family. Mary’s business career was vast, and she gained experience in many industries. Ultimately, she found her business passion to be in recruiting. Her final business venture was to start her own firm.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Jim Pyrz; son David Pyrz and his wife Rebecca; son Philip Pyrz and his wife Amy; grandchildren Morgan, Madisen, Sydney, and Dylan.
