Mary J. Hinkle, 88, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 7. Mary was born in Cairo, IL in 1924. Mary was a proud military wife and also volunteered for many years at Phoenix Baptist Memorial. She was an avid artist and was known for her great sense of humor and fun-loving pranks. She is preceded in death by her husband Major James E. Hinkle, USAF, daughter Pam Arias and son James R. Hinkle. Mary is survived by her grandchildren Julie Anne, Scotty, Alison, James J., Dawn and great-grandchildren Matthew, Ryan and Logan. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 13th at 2:00pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. in Phoenix, AZ.
