Mary Jo Durham

Mary Jo Durham passed away peacefully on August 6, 2014 at the age of 84. Born Mary Jo Reimen in Stanley, North Dakota on January 5, 1930, she lived in White Earth, North Dakota, graduated from high school and worked at the post office where her mother was Post Master. Her family moved to Wenatchee, Washington after the war.

Mary Jo married Claude Durham in 1950, started a family and eventually moved to Phoenix, Arizona in March 1962. During her life she also worked for J. C. Penney and sold real estate. She retired from the post office in 1999. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Mary Jo is preceded in death by one sister, four brothers and infant son, David. She is survived by sister Louise Monda, son Ken, daughters Katie (Johnson), Claudia (Allen), Stephanie (Bone), and Laura (Malek); six grand-sons, three grand-daughters and three great grand-sons.

Funeral services will be held at A L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014. She will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery
