Mary Jo Crowell, 91, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away April 16, 2021. She was born June 10, 1929 in Winfield, Kansas to parents Pansy Guthrie-White and James Guthrie. Mary Jo Crowell was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Although Mary Jo did many things in her life: artist, gardener, family historian and story teller, her greatest joy in life came when she was caring for others. From her beloved husband Marion, to her great grandchildren and those in between, she made everyone in her life feel cared for and loved.
Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents, as well as, several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Sue; daughter JoAnn; grandchildren Berney and Denise; 5 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. The memorial service will be 10am, Thursday, May 6 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona located at 23029 North Cave Creek Road Phoenix 85024.
