Martha Louise “Cookie” Jordan passed away peacefully at her Desert Hills residence on July 9, 2011. Cookie was born to Gerda and Homer Maroney on December 25, 1938. She had made her home in the Valley of the Sun since the age of one year and for the last 44 years called Desert Hills her home. Cookie was much loved and will be missed immensely. She is survived by her adored daughters Robin Jordan Hansen (Ron) Randy Jordan Duncan (John), Michelle “Missy” Jordan Fasano(Sam); treasured grandchildren Leah Fasano, Corry Sorrell, Kara Clay and Casey Perry and 6 precious great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00am at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers Cookie would have preferred donations to one of her many charities, Wild at Heart, Liberty Wildlife, Southwest Wildlife, Cave Creek Animal Rescue, Arizona Humane Society or The Cave Creek Museum.
