Marlene Faye Yeary

Marlene Faye Yeary (formerly Deines), 87, of Peoria Arizona, passed away on May 18, 2022. She was born July 29, 1934 in Flint Michigan. Marlene was a longtime resident of Arizona, serving as a teacher for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod in the 1950s on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Bylas, Arizona. During that time she met and married Raymond Lee Yeary, who preceded her in death in March 2021. Marlene was a lover of music and an accomplished church organist.

She is survived by her son Stephen Yeary (Paula), daughter Beth Star, grandchildren Kimberly (Roland) Mershon, Lauren (Troy) Caniff, Matthew (Darci) Yeary, Tiffany (Paul) Kim, Cory (Carol) Stoltenberg, sister Kathleen Dittrich, and several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:30am at Grace Lutheran Church, 5600 W Palmaire Ave, Glendale AZ 85301. (The primary parking lot is located on the north side of the church building on Myrtle Ave).
