Mark is survived by his spouse, Sharon Marie Quayle (Sharon Marie Quayle); his son Jerry Wayne Quayle; and his daughter Vicki Marie Quayle; his brother Jeffery Quayle.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Ann Richardson and his father Donald Arthur Quayle.
Mr. Quayle's legacy is continued through his grandchildren: Haley, Wyatt, Robert Jr., Marilyn McCurdy, Victor Quayle, Sydney Quayle. He also leaves behind his son-in-law, Robert McCurdy, and his daughter-in-law, Vanessa Quayle.
Mark Alan Quayle was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Mark will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Mark was a United States Marine Veteran. He was in the United States Marine Corps. Through his hard work, he achieved the rank of Lance Corporal. His fellow soldiers viewed him as a brother in arms and knew that he was as much a part of their family as their loved ones back home.
Mark enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were shooting guns, watching westerns, attending rodeos, camping outdoors and playing his guitar. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, family was his life. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Throughout his life, Mark was a doer and was always actively involved in professional and community organizations. Throughout his later years, Mark was an active member of the Legion Halls.
Mark’s faith was important to him. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Simply stated, Mark was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Mark leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Mark Alan Quayle.
A visitation for Mark will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel, 5921 West Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85033. Following the visitation will be a burial from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at National Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd,, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
